| Whilst having the traditional layout of a workman's cottage, No.1 differs from other Port Fairy cottages in the high ceilings and arches in the front two rooms and the fanlight over the front door. A cozy sittingroom with open fire and three bedrooms ( two with double beds and one with king size single and trundle )open off a central corridor. The once external kitchen is incorporated into a light and spacious living room across the width of the cottage. Bathroom areas are also in this part of the cottage. French doors open to a protected and private cottage garden - perfect for an evening BBQ, reading a book or sitting in the sun. No.1 welcomes families. A high chair pulls up to the table for family meals and a cot is available on request You'll find provisions for a continental breakfast and all linen is provided with beds made ready to fall into. |
